All things leopard print
Recently my love for leopard print was reignited when I saw Lucia from U Cant Wear That in her Hell Bunny dress, looking goddess like and I just had to get my hands on it somehow! I’m obsessed with leopard print and it’s from a well loved brand that has now, wait for it, released a larger plus size exclusive to Yours Clothing! They now go up to a size 32, which means more plus size babes can enjoy a brand that I love and it’s one more step towards more inclusivity! Luckily I then received it in the mail, gifted from Yours Clothing to review and share my opinion with you all!
A Fat Girls Review
First of, the print is gorgeous. It’s a bold leopard print, which I adore. Leopard print can be tricky, it can be a fine line between saucy and tacky but luckily Hell Bunny pulled it off well.
I was a little worried that it would be too short and flash my butt at the first small breeze but again I lucked out! Despite my large hips and butt shelf, the dress was short enough to keep me cool while on holiday in 33° sunshine but not so short that you could see my chub rub shorts. I’m wearing a size 24, which is form fitting enough that I can breath and fits my waist, I could have sized up to a 26 for some extra comfort but I wanted it to be form fitting on the top for some extra pow in the boob area. I can be a vain cow at times!
The dress has a fitted waistline and bust with a flared skirt, which is really cute and swishy. I couldn’t resist swishing around a bit when I first put it on, such a shame I didn’t get a little silly photo of that though! It also has adjustable shoulder straps which are perfect for me as I have small shoulders and even the tightest straps will find a way to slip down every now and then.
As the dress is quite simple in design (well as simple as a leopard print dress can be) you can easily jazz things up with some sparkly accessories or shoes and make a great going out ensemble or dress it down with some tights or leggings and make a great shopping outfit. I always love a dress that is multipurpose, less chance of it wasting away in my wardrobe waiting for “the occasion” that’s perfect.
For me, this dress is just cementing the fact that I love Hell Bunny as a brand, they are fun and flirty and now size inclusive, I can’t wait to see more fat babes wearing their clothing and I hope to see all their lines in a size 32 and on the high streets! Come on brands, be smart about this!
That’s all from me, do you have any favourites from Hell Bunny? Or pictures of you rocking some leopard print or even this same dress! Share, comment and show me!
